Introducing ZEEKR X: An Urban Electric SUV That Can Take You Everywhere

ZEEKR X is a compact electric vehicle that permanently ends the concept of compact vehicles being limited in their capability.

With the introduction of the ZEEKR X, compact in size doesn’t need to mean sacrificing space, performance or functionality anymore. Welcome to the X era. The third model from Geely Holding Group’s premium electric mobility brand, ZEEKR, was officially launched today. Positioned as an urban sport-utility vehicle (SUV) for adults, kids and any pets that are coming along for the journey.

Based on Geely Holding’s leading Sustainable Electric Architecture (SEA), the ZEEKR X is all electric from the outset and tailored for an urban life that will take its users on adventures in and out of the city.

The ZEEKR X measures in at (LxWxH) 4450mm, 1836mm, 1572mm with a wheelbase of 2750mm. Comfort and flexibility are key of ZEEKR X to offer a roomy interior for occupants.

The vehicle is equipped with electric folding rear seats that can have an extra 31% rear space after folding cushions upwards, giving occupants – both human and animal, the space required for adventures. Trunk volume can be extended from 362 to 1182 liters, creating even more adventure ready space.

Designed in Gothenburg, Sweden, for the world. The ZEEKR X was perfected at ZEEKR Design Studio under the leadership of Stefan Sielaff. The ZEEKR X adopts frameless door, exterior frameless mirrors and a hidden charging cover to achieve clean design and enhanced aerodynamic performance.

Inside, the minimalistic luxurious design makes the interior feel expansive, while a deeper look reveals the amount of care and attention given by the designers. The 1.21 m2 ultra-large panoramic double-pane glass canopy dominating the interior ceiling plays an important role in multiple functions including heat insulation, sun protection, and sound insulation.

Together with the ultra-wide angle windshield, the occupants’ sense of space is expanded while making better use of natural lighting. The microfiber velvet lining covering the interior is as delicate and soft as genuine leather whist being more sustainable. Over 100 interior embedded LEDs come with 17 different pre-set ambient lighting options which can be changed to match the moods of the occupants.

Similar to the ZEEKR 001 and the ZEEKR 009 that came in 2021 and 2022, the ZEEKR X has a class leading driving experience, boasting an acceleration time of the dual e-motor variant from 0-100km/h of just 3.7 seconds thanks to dual in-house electric motor and silicon carbide battery technology. The ZEEKR X dual e-motors provides the vehicle with a combined maximum power of 315kW and maximum torque of 543N•m. Pure electric range of ZEEKR X is up to 560 kilometers (CLTC) between charges.

Along with its Integrated Power Brake (IPB) system and four-wheel independent suspension, ZEEKR X offers excellent drivability while balancing comfort and performance. Intelligent functionality has been integrated into the vehicle’s four-wheel drive system, allowing seamless automated transitions between two and four wheel drive to better accommodate different road and driving conditions.

Deliveries of the ZEEKR X will begin in China in June with a European launch expected in due course.
