ZEEKR Over-Delivers with the ZEEKR 001 FR

2023 October 27th, Beijing – As promised, ZEEKR started delivery of the ZEEKR 001 FR to customers in October. ZEEKR engineers, with support from ZEEKR chief performance adviser Kimi Räikkönen, broke some of the promises we made last month – the ZEEKR 001 FR is now stronger, faster and smarter than initially promised.

THE POWER

The pure electric ZEEKR 001 FR offers the best possible balance of luxury, comfort, and ultra-performance. ZEEKR engineers managed to increase the 001 FR shooting brake to produce 1,300 brake horsepower, up from the 1,265 promised and allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.02 seconds in a rolling start scenario, 0.05 seconds shorter than 2.07 seconds achieved earlier in the year.

THE Räikkönen MODE

Racing champion Kimi Räikkönen worked with ZEEKR engineers to give the car top-notch tuning allowing it to perform to perfection both on race tracks and on the road condition. ZEEKR’s hardware and infotainment engineers launched Räikkönen Mode with which the car can offer immersive and comprehensive features for drivers who would like to push it to the limit. The ZEEKR 001 FR is also the world’s first production car to be equipped with 8295 intelligent cockpit platform, adding increased intelligence to interior functions.

THE PACKAGE

The ZEEKR 001 FR is the first ZEEKR model globally to utilize an upgraded 800V electrical system and is equipped with four silicon carbide-powered e-motors that were developed in-house by ZEEKR. Thanks to the distributed quad e-drive design and ZEEKR’s own software and hardware technologies, the ZEEKR 001 FR utilizes torque vectoring technologies that delivers maximum power to each wheel and can adjust power to each wheel in milliseconds for a true performance experience. It can also do tank turns.

Battery power for the ZEEKR 001 FR comes from a 100kWh CATL Qilin battery pack that is already used elsewhere in the ZEEKR product portfolio. ZEEKR 001 FR’s e-powertrain system supports ultra-fast charging with ZEEKR’s in-house 800V technologies, as such the ZEEKR 001 FR is able to charge 10 to 80% in just 15 minutes.

The price of ZEEKR 001 FR, with production limited to 99 cars each month, is 769,000 yuan.

Global markets will received the 001 FR in due course, in limited volumes.
