ZEEKR's Right-Hand Drive Models Will Hit HK and Macau Markets in 2024

2023 October 26, Hong Kong, China. Responding to growing customer demand for premium electric Right-Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles, Geely Holding Group’s electric mobility technology brand ZEEKR is developing RHD models with plans to start car deliveries next year.

ZEEKR’s engineers are developing RHD ZEEKR 009 multi-purpose vehicles (MPV) and ZEEKR X sport-utility vehicles to meet regulatory and customer requirement globally. Deliveries of these luxury models, developed on pure electric Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), will start in Hong Kong and Macau in the third quarter of 2024.

ZEEKR has signed the agreement with Kam Lung Motor Group, a leading auto distributor in the Greater Bay Area, which has a plan to build two ZEEKR Spaces and one ZEEKR House in Hong Kong, and one ZEEKR Space in Macau in first half of 2024 to provide customers a comprehensive eco-system experience from the first contact to aftersales service and establish an all-stage service system. For the smooth EV charging experience, ZEEKR and Kam Lung will jointly offer seamless charging services in the Greater Bay Area.

ZEEKR, which has announced sales plans for Europe, Middle East and Central Asia market, will study other RHD markets. Before the deliveries of RHD ZEEKR vehicles, Kam Lung will start selling Left-Hand Drive ZEEKR 001, 009 and ZEEKR X in Macau this year.

ZEEKR previously announced the plan to sell cars in Sweden, Netherlands, Israel, Kazakhstan and Germany.
